  • Super Wings Season 5  (Series-Animation) / Design

Three of the five designs of the season were commissioned by Korea's Funny Flux,

a subsidiary of China's leading toy maker Alpha.

  • Time traveler LUKE 5  (Series-Animation) / Design

The work was commissioned by a famous Korean animation producer to conduct the design.

  • Blood code (Movie Animation) / Concept design

The design of the theater version of Chinese web animation.​

  • Flying Super Board (Movie Animation) / Story Board & Design directing

Currently in production of an animation using a famous Korean I.P as the material, which is considerably stable considering the domestic situation of not having much experience in theatrical animation. The original comic is improved into a design that is suitable for 3D and the design is optimized to fit a new story.

Presenting a new concept direction of myths and K-Tropolois, out of the theme parks that carry out themes based on Korea.

In charge of the early design leading of a series animation based on a main character of messenger service LINE, which has close to 700 million members.

 

  • Larva Season3 ‘Larva in New York’ (Series Animation) / Design directing

Setting the initial story and presenting a standardized worldview.

 

  • Minders (TV Animation) / Art director, Design directing

Built a worldview including the mechanic design of a toy-oriented animation that applies brainwave technology involving the control of objects using mind power.

Stressed the development of a character design suited to commercialization and worldview building with a series animation in which a teddy bear is the main character.

 

  • Bremen Band (Movie Animation) / Design directing

Involved in the overall look including matte style and map texturing as well as design for a theatrical animation currently underway.

 

  • Kokkdu (Korean traditional Character Design) / Design directing

Assessed as an adequate case of design development with a project animating the Korea traditional toy “Kkokdu”

 

  • Incheon Asian Games opening  ceremony / Concept design

Conducted the visual concept design for the opening show of the Incheon Asian Games.

A work that received the grand prize at the theatrical animation scenario competition hosted by CJ culture foundation. The project is currently attracting investments in China.

 

  • Teddy Bear Theme park / Amusement park design, Concept design

Spatial design and worldview setting of the teddy bear kid’s part which is a great success at the Second Lotte World.

Developed a story concept to enable spectators to perceive teddy bears without copyright as the client’s own teddy bear

 

  • Jeju Aerospace Museum / Directing, Moving image design

Expressed material involving an alien who comes to see the beauty of Jeju. Maximized the advantages of DOME + 3D Stereo technology.

 

  • Snowpiercer,2013 (Movie Animation for Promotion) / Art director, Concept design

Demonstrated extremely realistic video that applied stop motion to 3D in an animation for the promotion of director Bong Joon-ho’s global project, Snowpiercer.

 

  • The Road of “MAUM” (Movie Animation)/ Art director, Design directing, Story board

Thematic video for the Tripitaka Koreana Festival that is based on the Tripitaka Koreana of Haeinsa Temple, a UNESCO world heritage

 

  • Robot Fish (Real Robot Design) / Concept design

Collaborating with the Korea Testing Laboratory on concept refinement work, in order to transform robot fish produced for water quality and aquatic life observation purposes into those for entertainment purposes.

A masterwork that expresses the sensibility of 2D animation in 3D, based on a famous love story in the Korean region of Andong.

 

  • Belluga Talk Show (Interactive Talk Show) / Art director, Character design, Design directing

An interactive talk show with virtual characters installed in the Second Lotte World in Korea. The characterization of the beluga, and the spatial design of the pre-show and main show.

Conducted early concept design during the cinematization of famous Korean webcomic.

Received the Outstanding Character Design Award at the 2015 Asia Rainbow TV Awards

Designed an experiential video based on Eric Moussambani, an actual swimmer, by maximizing 3D stereo

 

  • IAAF World Championships Deagu,2011 (Interactive Game) / Game design

Presented the overall game composition in a project that provides a game to visitors and athletes of a track and field competition.

Contributed to the stable launching of a game that is still currently in service, through a real and unique worldview configuration.

Thematic video for the Korean pavilion at the 2010 Shanghai World Expo. Design with Korean materials and techniques.

about Studiogage

Incorporation in January 2016 after founding in February 2009

  • Formed the first and only exclusive pre-production team specializing in theatrical animation in Korea. (currently working on its fifth work)
     

  • Currently there is no single team in Korea that has worked on three or more theatrical animations
     

  • Secured excellent personnel including, expert mechanic designers with industrial design backgrounds, for developing highly dense contents
     

  • Concentrating on securing self-developed I.P by carrying out co-work with multiple projects.
     

  • In possession of multiple self-developed contents and more are in development.
     

  • Dualizing the direction of the business into theatrical animation and theme parks, considering the connection to theme parks in the future.
